Properties Rainbow hematite is hematite that has been treated with titanium. Rainbow hematite has all the grounding properties of hematite, and the crown-chakra activating power of titanium. Rainbow hematite helps to align your chakras, making it a very useful meditation stone.
Hematite’s dark reflective surface makes it a useful tool for scrying. It dispels and wards negative energy, and helps to ground and protect its wearer. The name hematite comes from the Greek word haima meaning blood, named for the red iron in the core of the stone. In fact, it was believed that large deposits of hematite were formed on battlefields where there was a lot of bloodshed.
